Formula 1 Announces 2024 Calendar
24 Races, Including New Las Vegas Grand Prix
Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix to Open Season
Formula 1 has released the calendar for the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship, which will feature 24 races, including the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. The season will open with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on March 3rd and conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 24th.
The calendar features several changes from the 2023 season, including the addition of Las Vegas and the return of the Chinese Grand Prix after a three-year absence. The Monaco Grand Prix will move to a later date in June, while the French Grand Prix will be held in July. The Japanese Grand Prix will also return to its traditional October slot after being held in November in 2023.
The 2024 season is expected to be one of the most competitive in recent years, with Max Verstappen and Red Bull looking to defend their titles against Ferrari and Mercedes. Several new drivers will also be joining the grid, including Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri.
