Southwest Monsoon Affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

The Southwest Monsoon continues to affect the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies and thunderstorms to these areas.

Forecast for Specific Areas:

* Southern Luzon: Cloudy with a couple of thunderstorms, especially late in the day. * Visayas: Hi. Cloudy with a couple of thunderstorms. * Mindanao: Hi. Some sun, then turning cloudy with a thunderstorm or two in the afternoon. * Metro Manila: Hi. Partly to mostly cloudy, very warm, and humid. Cloudy this morning, followed by sun and areas of high clouds this afternoon.

Residents in affected areas are advised to take precautions against possible flooding and landslides due to heavy rainfall.
