The Rise of Red is the latest installment in the popular Descendants film franchise
The Rise of Red features a large cast of new and returning characters, including some familiar faces from the original films. The film follows the children of the original villains as they navigate the challenges of growing up in a world where good and evil are constantly at odds.
The film stars Dove Cameron as Mal, Sofia Carson as Evie, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, and Booboo Stewart as Jay. The film also features China Anne McClain as Uma, daughter of Ursula, and Thomas Doherty as Harry Hook, son of Captain Hook. Descendants: The Rise of Red is directed by Kenny Ortega and written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott.
