Nuggets Struggle Offensively, Hold On For 117-90 Win
DENVER - The Denver Nuggets shot a dismal 30.4% from the field in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night, but managed to hold on for a 117-90 victory thanks to a strong defensive effort.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. Jamal Murray added 21 points, while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
The Timberwolves were led by D'Angelo Russell's 21 points. Karl-Anthony Towns struggled mightily, shooting just 3-of-14 from the field and finishing with 12 points.
The Nuggets now lead the series 2-1 and will host Game 4 on Saturday night.
